postcards from positano

out from behind the camera

hello. i rarely make an appearance on my own blog, however, i still managed to stay behind the camera...can you say Control Freak?!  Recently, MM and I made a day trip to positano for a rendez-vouz sans enfants (terrible french, I know).

please, don't be too nauseated when i say this..."it could not have been a more perfect day." everything was just right; weather, traffic (a big topic of conversation around here) the food, little tourists to fight for space, everything! we did a little shoe shopping; MM's new obsession but I left empty handed, though. no shoes for me. (*gasp) just some great shots and memories of a wonderful lunch date.

If you're wondering, why I'm back to lizabee & co...well, whom am I kidding? I'm nothing without the company I keep. These silent days without the wonder brats are proving it to me more and more.

Ciao!

  2. Beautiful...scenery & MODEL! ;o) My sister & brother loved Positano while they were in Italy studying architecture! Also, glad you & MM had a nice date sans kiddies! We thought we'd have the same this upcoming Columbus Day but lo & behold, I forgot I was late in scheduling K's wel-child appointment and it's on Monday! Plus, J only has a 1/2 day of kindergarten too. Hahahahaha.

  3. A trip to Italy has been on my wish list for some years now. Your photos make me want to move it up to the top of the list -- but where's Diane Lane?

  12. Using different exposure can create an interesting effect on pictures. You've done so well in fine tuning the colors in this picture.
